What the?
I'm bored. I'm so bored I just looked at the clock and it was at least an hour past when I last looked at the clock. What the F*^@&^?!! Where did my time go!?! Crap crap crap.
And now I'm procrastinating by posting stuff and reading everyone else's blogs. Go figure. Word up to Audrey, Steph, Angela, Natalie and Rach who just got me through the last hour without my sanity taking a swan dive from the top floor of this building. And Token, there is no excuse for not posting something interesting, I dont care if you just moved house, got a new boyfriend and your job is crazy, I *need* something to read. And nothing too soppy either. ;-)
The weekend that was...war.
My little sister is a numpty. She somehow managed to insinuate herself into the car heading for the Gardening Expo even though the whole of the 45 minute drive she whinged about how bored she was and how the whole thing just wasn't her idea of fun and blah blah blah. Mum and I tuned her out by the time we made it to the end of the driveway and an unspoken agreement was reached, once we get there, ditch her and Hormonal. Ok, that sounds pretty crappy and bitchy but to see Sponge pull strips off my mother in the middle of a packed Convention Centre just becuase we didn't call her and tell her were were stopping for lunch (they ditched us first since she was bored) was just wrong. Silly silly little child. Anyone want another sister? I'llpay you to take her, please?
Now for any gardening fanatics, according to Peter Cundell (resident garden gnome on Gardening Australia and top fella), weeing on your lemon trees does damn good things for them. For starters they will never get any pests (apart from the odd scale but hey, urea can burn those babies off), and it puts much needed nutrients back in the soil. I do not recommend doing this if you are a chick, aiming is quite hard. But if you have a lemon tree, grab your partner, man-friend, man-neighbour and invite him over for a few beers and then let on that the toilet is broken. And tadaahhh! before you know it, there will be lemons for tequila night, or g & t's. Funny coming from an 82 year old man who all the elderly women would throw their nickers at if they could. The Tom Jones of gardening.
Happy Library Week to all! Trivia Night tonight sees the Lost Librarians of reALIA take on GUTS, and the State library Team for the title of Trivia Champion. We were ranked 3rd last year and this year we are going to squash those rival teams with anything we have. Library geek that I am, I will even be dressed inline with the theme, wearing my best archeologist/librarian clobber complete with pith helmet and magnifying glass. No twinsets and pearls for us tonight!
So 3 cheers for the Lost Librarians and to all those who reckon librarians are boring, you've never seen over 500 of them all in 1 place vying for a trivia cup. The alcohol flows, the women get rowdy and people run screaming from the madness and craziness that is librarians in a social setting.
Bring it on. News to come tomorrow on whether or not we won. Stay tuned.

Peeing on your feet is also supposed to be a good antiseptic. Dunno where i learned that from, but i think it's true. Or i might be a gullible idiot, that's quite possible also.

I love that you call your sister Sponge and numpty. And no, I don't want her. Not after the weekend I had with own "I star in my very own kitchen sink drama" sister.
