The great move

Well the contents or most of have been shifted to this desk with a view. Each morning now I can sit and while the tedium of answering phones makes me appreciate how stupid some people really are, the sun comes up and peeks through the window warming my hands. Aaaahhhh very zen. Now to get me a potplant methinks.

It's glorious, I can sit and while listening to some fool rabbit on about the fact that they didn't know that they actually need to have the monitor turned on to use the computer, or that a temporary password expires (hence why it's called temporary n00b) I can survey the outside world, watch the trees swaying gently in the breeze and contemplate what my chances of survival would be if I smashed the window and jumped out to run away screaming. I'm 2 floors up, do you reckon 1 leg broken or 2? Some minor spinal damage or will adrenalin be my friend and numb all pain while I roll McGyver style in a mad dash bid for freedom.

Bloody view is taunting me I'm sure of it.

I must admit it has changed my responses to various calls, instead of responding with pent-up anger and then kicking the wall, instead I let it all wash away with some well placed sarcasm or cynicism. 'I'm sorry, initially you said you submitted the paper work yesterday, now you're telling me it was last week or was it the week before? Which story would you like to run since it seems to be changing', to 'oh, that's unfortunate that your temporary password expired and locked your account. Especially since you would have been told you should change it within 24 hours or it would do exactly what has happened.' See, zen bitchiness.

Yes, many potplants, perhaps some cacti so then I can press the cacti needles under my fingernails. But in a nice, zen kind of way.
